Coronavirus Info & FAQ - Existing Bookings

The dates used below are subject to change based on future announcements by UK Gov

Customers with bookings before April 12th 2021 (before Step 2)

We have contacted all customers with bookings before April 12th in order to postpone or cancel their stay with us. If you have a booking before April 12th and have not been contacted, please call us as soon as possible to discuss your booking.

Customers with existing bookings between April 12th and May 17th 2021 (Step 2)

Social distancing restrictions will remain in place during thsi time. No mixing of different households indoors, and only two households or 'rule of 6' outdoors.

Log Cabins: Customers with log cabin bookings between April 12th and May 17th can stay at Alpine Grove as planned, providing all guests are from a single household.

Camping/Touring: Customers with camping bookings between April 12th and May 17th can stay at Alpine Grove as planned, providing all guests are from a single household and providing they are fully self-contained with their own toilet/shower facilties as these facilities WILL NOT be available on site during this time. We have contacted all customers with bookings during this time to explain the situation and offer to cancel or change their dates if necessary. If you have a booking between April 12th and May 17th and you have not been contacted, please call us as soon as possible to discuss your booking.

Customers with existing bookings after May 17th 2021 (Step 3)

We are expecting most outdoor social distancing restrictions to be lifted at the start of Step 3, along with various indoor restrictions allowing us to open our shared areas for guests to use. Rule of 6 or two households will apply indoors with outdoor groups of up to 30 people. We will review all bookings for stays during Step 3 and contact any customers who we beleive may be affected by these restrictions before the end of April.

Customers with existing bookings after July 19th 2021 (Step 4)

It is hoped that all restrictions both indoor and outdoor can be lifted at this point, meaning all bookings should be able to go ahead as planned and things will start to become normal once again. However,
due to the increasing Covid infection rate across the UK and in order to minimise the risk for staff and guests, all 'step 3' social distancing requirements and capacity limits will remain in place at Alpine Grove after July 19th and for the remainder of the 2021 camping season.

We appreciate that these rules will no longer be enforcable by law, however in the interests of safety, guests will be expected to comply if they wish to stay on site.

Any guest who is unable to travel due to needing to self-isolate should contact us at the earliest opportunity to discuss their booking. Where possible, we would ask customers to defer their bookings rather than cancel.

For all other reasons our standard cancellation policy applies, our Coronavirus Booking Guarantee will also apply to all bookings for stays until the end of 2021 and customers placing bookings after 16th October 2020 have the option to include "Refund Protection" on their booking which will provide a full refund in the event of cancellation due to illness (including Covid-19), breakdown and a number of other reasons - full details over cover provided.
