Official Guidance:
If a guest is displaying signs of the Covid-19 virus while staying
in overnight accommodation for a permitted reason, they should
inform the accommodation provider, immediately self-isolate where
they are to minimise any risk of transmission, and request a
test. If they are confirmed to have Covid-19, they should return
home if they reasonably can. If a guest cannot reasonably return
home (for example because they are not well enough to travel
or do not have the means to arrange transport), their circumstances
should be discussed with an appropriate health care professional
and, if necessary, the local authority. Guests should follow
government guidance on dealing with possible or confirmed coronavirus
(COVID-19) infection.
If
a guest shows any signs of having the virus then they must immediately
go and get tested by contacting www.nhs.uk/conditions/coronavirus-covid-19/testing-and-tracing/get-an-antigen-test-to-check-if-you-have-coronavirus
Once tested, we will need to see the test result, and if
positive the guest must immediately leave the site
along with any other members
of their family or group, even if they have booked to stay
longer.
If the guest is unable to leave, for example being the only
driver and unfit to drive, the guests must remain isolated
in the log
cabin or camping unit for as long as required, however
if the guest needs to stay beyond their booked period, they
will become liable for all additional costs incurred,
including any
refunds to other guests who’s bookings get cancelled as
a result.
We also need to collect names, telephone numbers
and email addresses of everyone in the guests group,
to pass onto
the NHS Test and Trace if requested. This information
will not be used for any other purpose.
